Information

Thomas More is a National Healthy School. We operate our own catering service. We have a friendly catering team who offer two choices of nutritionally balanced but traditionally cooked lunches, freshly prepared on our premises on a daily basis, offering fresh vegetables (and salad in summer months), with a choice of home cooked deserts, or if preferred a selection of fresh fruit or yogurt of the child's choice. This is based on a 4 week rolling programme.

We also cater for children who require special dietary needs, i.e. vegetarians and children with allergies.

Healthy Snack Bar
We provide a healthy snack bar at 10.30 a.m. everyday. It is run by the kitchen and Year 5. It has a very high uptake and has stopped crisps and chocolate bars being brought into school. The children have two choices of fruit and veg sticks which is ordered by their house colours each morning at registration and a choice of home made cakes and biscuits. We sell every item at 25p.
